Lemoore triangle sightings — A Navy maintenance worker sees a glowing triangle above Lemoore Naval Air Station.
Angelo Accetta, a former Navy aviation maintenance administrator, told researchers that he saw a slow, silent triangular object with lights at its corners over Naval Air Station Lemoore, in California's Central Valley, several times in 2011 and 2012. He said other servicemen also saw it.
According to Accetta, the object hovered and moved slowly at low altitude, unlike any aircraft he knew, and he reported five separate incidents. He spoke publicly in the 2020s, when interest in UAP grew after the Navy videos were released.
No Navy records of the sightings have been released. Black triangles are among the most commonly reported UFO shapes, and sightings at military bases raise the question of whether they were classified aircraft, drones or something else.
