Mrs. G and the Wright-Patterson catalogue — A Wright-Patterson worker reportedly said she catalogued about 1,000 incoming UAP items.

"Mrs. G" is one of Leonard Stringfield's anonymous informants. She was a woman who, according to a friend who passed the story to Stringfield, worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in the 1950s, apparently in a division handling foreign materials. Before her death she reportedly said she had catalogued about 1,000 items related to UFOs that came into the base, and had seen bodies being moved.

The account was published in Stringfield's crash-retrieval papers beginning in 1978. It's second-hand, as the information came from the friend rather than from Mrs. G herself, and neither is named.

Wright-Patterson really was home to the Air Technical Intelligence Center, which analysed foreign aircraft and equipment, and to Project Blue Book, so it's plausible that staff there handled UFO-related files and samples sent in by the public. But no records support the claim of 1,000 exotic items, and the Air Force has always denied storing alien material at the base.
