Sgt. M.S. and the Wright-Patterson general — An Air Force sergeant says a general at Wright-Patterson told him about recovered material.

"Sgt. M.S." is one of Leonard Stringfield's anonymous informants. He said that in 1977, while serving at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, he had conversations with a general who told him about recovered material from crashed craft held by the government.

The account was published in Stringfield's 1978 paper "Retrievals of the Third Kind", which was presented at the MUFON symposium in Dayton, Ohio, just a few miles from Wright-Patterson. The general wasn't named, and no records support the conversations. Like most of Stringfield's material, it remains unverified.
