Jared Moskowitz (born 1980) is a Democratic member of the US House of Representatives from Florida, in office since 2023, and previously head of Florida's emergency management agency. He has become one of the most outspoken Democrats in Congress on UAP disclosure.[1][2]
UAP activity

In January 2024, after a closed briefing for House members by the Intelligence Community Inspector General on UAP whistleblower complaints, Moskowitz called it the first briefing that showed real progress, while other lawmakers said they still lacked answers.[3] At a September 2025 hearing of the House Oversight task force on declassification, chaired by Anna Paulina Luna, he said that while he did not know what UAP were, he knew when Congress was being lied to, "and we are definitely being lied to".[2] He has worked with Republican colleagues including Tim Burchett and Luna on calls for disclosure.[2]
