According to Jacques Vallée's journals, on 11 March 1984 CIA physician Kit Green told him he had once interviewed an unnamed soldier of fortune whose group specialised in testing nuclear security and used helicopters designed to look like flying saucers.[1]
The source

The entry appears on page 137 of the third volume of Vallée's Forbidden Science journals, as quoted by researcher Keith Basterfield. The interviewee was not named, and no date or place was given for the interview.[1]
Kit Green
Christopher "Kit" Green worked for the CIA from 1969 to 1985, partly on remote viewing and UFOs, and was a regular contact of Vallée's. In September 1981 Vallée recorded Green telling him of a mercenary's account of infiltrating a nuclear installation.[2]
Context

Vallée long suspected that some UFO events were staged or exploited by human agencies. Unidentified helicopters were widely reported during the 1970s cattle mutilation wave, when some authorities warned farmers not to fire on them.[3]
Assessment
The account is second-hand and unconfirmed. No documents show helicopters disguised as flying saucers.[1]
