Norton AFB diamond-shaped craft claim (1988) — A researcher claims a diamond-shaped craft was tested at Norton AFB.
Researcher Michael Schratt, who studies secret aircraft programs, says that around November 1988 a private showing of secret aircraft was held at Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino, California, for senior officials. According to his sources, the display included a diamond-shaped lifting body with unusual propulsion.
November 1988 was the month the Air Force first publicly acknowledged the F-117 stealth fighter, and the B-2 bomber was unveiled at Palmdale that month too. A display of classified aircraft for cleared personnel isn't implausible.
The specific claim of a diamond-shaped craft comes from second-hand accounts, including Mark McCandlish's later story about a friend who said he saw "alien reproduction vehicles" at a Norton display. There's no official confirmation, and it's unclear whether the event happened as described.
