Dan Morris testimony — Air Force Sgt. Dan Morris says he was part of a group gathering UAP information.
Retired Air Force Master Sgt. Dan Morris gave testimony to Greer's Disclosure Project claiming that after Project Blue Book closed, he worked for the National Reconnaissance Office on covert UFO investigations, including retrieving crashed craft and dealing with witnesses. He said these operations were run outside normal oversight.
Morris's testimony appeared in the Disclosure Project's 2001 briefing document and video. His military service and his specific claims haven't been independently confirmed, and the NRO hasn't commented.
The testimony also mentions a 2009 claim by an alleged witness called "Stein", who told journalist Linda Moulton Howe that he had been intimidated by officials of the security company Wackenhut, which guarded sensitive sites, and told not to talk about weapons used to shoot at saucers. That claim is also unverified.
