1980s CIA programs email inquiry — A researcher emails a former CIA science official about 1980s UAP programs.

According to the testimony, in September 2022 a researcher emailed a former CIA science official to ask about UAP-related programs in the 1980s. The exchange was part of efforts to reconstruct the history of the Advanced Theoretical Physics group and related contacts.

The official wasn't named publicly in the material we found, and the reply hasn't been published in full. Researchers in this period were contacting many retired officials to test the claims in the Wilson/Davis notes and earlier accounts.

The item records an inquiry rather than a finding. Its outcome isn't publicly documented.
