Raymond Fowler (born 1933) is an American UFO investigator from Massachusetts, a U.S. Air Force Security Service veteran and former employee of a defence contractor. He was a long-time investigator for NICAP and MUFON.
Work
Fowler wrote many books, including The Andreasson Affair (1979), about the abduction claims of Betty Andreasson, which became one of the best-known abduction cases. In Casebook of a UFO Investigator (1981) he published the affidavit of "Fritz Werner", later identified as engineer Arthur Stancil, describing a 1953 crash recovery near Kingman, Arizona. He was known for detailed, carefully documented reports, though some of the cases he promoted remain disputed.
