In a later account, Moore described a UFO hovering near his missile site in late 1964, which was seen by personnel at the site. He said the incident was reported. His testimony is one of several from 1960s missile crews in New Mexico, collected by researcher Robert Hastings, describing unexplained objects near nuclear missiles. There is no released documentation confirming it.
