Michael Jenkins is a former U.S. Air Force security policeman who served at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas, home to B-52 bombers carrying nuclear weapons.
His account
Jenkins has said that in October 1973 his squadron encountered a UFO near the bombers on the flight line, with security forces put on alert. He described the incident decades later in testimony collected by researchers on UFOs at nuclear weapons sites. It has not been confirmed by released Air Force records, but it fits a pattern of reported incidents at Strategic Air Command bases in the 1970s.
