UFO interest

Goldwater said in a 1975 letter and later interviews that he once asked Gen. Curtis LeMay for access to a room at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base said to hold UFO material, and that LeMay angrily refused. He said he believed the government held information that was kept classified, but he never found proof.
