In 1994, Kissner said that sources told him that several flying disc crashes had occurred in New Mexico in 1947, causing deaths, and he suggested they might have been secret U.S. tests rather than alien craft. He looked into records at the state level and connected the stories to early rocket and nuclear programs. His views offer an alternative to the alien explanation, but are not documented by official records.
