Homer Rowlette was a U.S. Army Air Forces airman reportedly stationed at Roswell in 1947.
The deathbed account
In March 1999, Rowlette's son said that his father, on his deathbed, told him he had seen a crashed flying saucer near Roswell in July 1947. The account is second-hand and cannot be checked. It was added to the large collection of Roswell testimony by researchers in the late 1990s.
