Lovekin told the Disclosure Project that he received briefings about UFOs at the White House during the Eisenhower years, including being shown a piece of metal said to come from a crashed craft. He said Eisenhower was concerned that he had lost control of the subject to corporate interests. His account, given in 2001, has not been confirmed.
