I live in Burton on Trent in Staffordshire, UK.
On 28th of September I got out of my car after parking up to go to work. My colleague was waiting for me having just parked up himself. This next bit is funny, I shit you not I walked up to him and said "ah it's lovely weather for UFOs..... Oh shit there's one over there!" and pointed at a shiny ball shaped object just floating towards us about 300 to 400 meters away almost directly north. Hard to tell the size but it could have been anywhere between a motorbike to a small car in size. Definitely spherical, no rotors. It then made a gentle right angle and started moving directly East along the main road. I would say it was moving about 20-30 miles per hour. It continued at a consistent speed, always without any noise we could hear, and simply floated off over the hill to the East following the contours of the land and maintaining the same altitude. I took some pictures and a video which I have posted. My phone is a Huawei P30 which has a crazy zoom and is normally able to focus very well considering. On this day it was having none of it, it had a lot of trouble focusing on this object which was odd. You can see the glint of sunlight on one picture which helps my record of the event. When it floated into the distance just before it went out of sight it reflected the early morning sunlight very strongly and was clearly metallic. Anyway I thought this was interesting, see what you think.
