Since 1979, Paola Harris has been delving into the world of unidentified aerial phenomena, forming close relationships with leading researchers in the field. Notably, from 1980 to 1986, she was entrusted by Dr. J. Allen Hynek to spearhead his UFO investigations outside the United States.

Paola's literary influence extends globally with her books being translated into Japanese, Spanish, and French. Her body of work includes fascinating interviews with numerous military witnesses, such as Canadian former Minister of Defense, Paul Hellyer, offering unique insights into their extraordinary experiences. In a particularly fascinating encounter, she interviewed Colonel Philip Corso in New Mexico in 1997, later becoming his editor and confidante. She played a crucial role in translating his book, 'The Day After Roswell,' into Italian, even contributing the preface. She also crafted the Italian preface for Apollo 14 Astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell's book, 'The Way of the Explorer.'

According to the book, Colonel Corso was tasked with distributing pieces of alien technology recovered from the Roswell crash to various American corporations to be studied and reverse engineered. Although his claims are controversial, many believe he is “the founder“ of the original reverse engineering program.
