Description

2003. One day, while driving thru the desert on the way back from Vegas from a business trip, I looked up into the clear blue sky and saw what I thought were 2 planes traveling, one in front of the other, almost end to end.

Beside me, in the driver seat was Robert Sons (Bobby) who I am forever grateful to have had beside me to have witnessed this event. Otherwise I might not have told a soul, cause i wouldve figured no one wouldve believed me. I may have even doubted myself if what I saw was real had he not been there. The mind can wander and do strange things on a long road trip.

Anyway, I asked Bobby, " Isn't it illegal for 2 planes to be traveling that close together?" Keep in mind these things were high up in the sky, as high as a plane would be.
No sooner than I said that, the one in the back dropped straight down, and to the right. And the one in front just disappeared.

We both were having that "Holy Smokes" moment , but before we could say anything, I swear to God, and I know this sounds crazy, but it's like it knew we were looking at it. And then it shot across the sky immediately towards us and right above us on the right side of the highway. It was above over our heads, about 4 telephone poles lengths up in the sky, SPINNING like the electrons you see in one of those pics of an atom.

I yelled for Bobby to pull the car quickly to the side of the highway and he did. While it sat in the sky , the best way I can describe it, it looked like it was spinning around like a star. Diagonally, end over end. But so fast, it was like a blur. It was a platinum white color.

And it looked and felt like it was "showing off" to us.

I had my Canon 500 in my lap the whole time during the trip and all I did was take pictures of rocks and cows the whole trip. So I snapped some pictures of the spinning platinum looking thing in the sky as best as I could as I was shaking with fear and excitement.
Bobby was scared rightfully so, and didn't want to stick around, and wanted to get the heck out of there. He yelled for me to get back in the window and hit the gas and we took off.

We got back to Charlotte and I got all my pictures developed. I couldn't wait to get them back. When I did, I searched all through the pictures, but could not find the ones that I took of the spinning object in the sky.
My mind immediately went to a government cover up. Someone had found the pictures and taken them out of the photo lab. Men in black type stuff, I thought. I was pissed.

But I was about to crack open this case and expose the government cover up.
Cause I still had the negatives.

I searched through the negatives until I found the ones that corresponded with the road trip during Nevada. And there it was , a whole strip of nothing but blue sky.
I quickly went back to the photo lab. I showed the guy the strip and I asked him how come they did not develop these pictures. He said something to the effect of "because it was all blue, we felt like those were mistakes so we always throw those away" I said "no I want these developed. These are not mistakes I took them on purpose."

So it was no MIB stuff. Just photolab protocol. So he developed them. And when the pictures came back, that "spinning star" I saw turned out to look like this thing.

I will say, it looked nothing like a disc when it was spinning. And I wonder, if the spinning I saw was actually the light reflecting off of it.

So here it is. We told everybody when we got back to work. Of course we were laughed at at first. But most of that laughter was silenced when they saw the pictures. But ...a few still laugh.
