I recently came across an interview (https://open.spotify.com/episode/06941nI0tjmIzccEghOKSQ?si=e65541dc93…) with Lee Spiegel where he describes his involvement with different people which helped him bring the UFO matter to the attention of the United Nations. Spiegel claims that Dr. Allen Hynek (https://gumlet.assettype.com/swarajya%2F2021-06%2Fe5640deb-c0b0-4fe3-…) had given him access to a lengthy "Chapter" from a science textbook dated 1968. (Information which Spiegel would later present to the UN). This chapter was part of a science textbook meant to be "For USAF cadet's eyes only." The book was edited by two USAF officers. In it, the USAF offered information on the phenomenon to educate their military men on the subject of UFOs. Basically bringing them up to date with what they had found through their research on the topic, at the time. The science textbook is called "Introductory Space Science." Chapter 33 titled UFOs stated that:

"What we will do here is to present evidence that UFOs are a global phenomenon which may have persisted for many thousands of years.

[...]

"UFO sightings not only appear to extend back 47,000 years through time, but also are global. One has the feeling that the phenomenon deserves some sort of valid scientific investigation."

[...]

"The most stimulating theory for us is that the UFOs are material objects which are, either manned or remote controlled, by beings who are alien to this planet. And there is some evidence supporting this viewpoint."

[...]

"Why no contact? That question is very easy to answer in several ways:

No 1. We may be the object of intensive sociological and psychological study. In such studies, you usually avoid disturbing the test subject's environment.

No 2. You do not contact a colony of ants, and humans may seem that way to any aliens. A variation: A Zoo is fun to visit but you don't contact the lizards.

No 3. Such contact may have already taken place secretly.

[...]

"From available information the UFO phenomenon appears to have been global for almost 50,000 years. The majority of known witnesses have been reliable people who have seen easily explained natural phenomena. This leaves us with the unpleasant possibility of alien visitors to our planet. Or at least, of alien controlled UFOs. However, the data are not well correlated. But the questionable data there are, suggests the existence of at least (3) and maybe (4) different groups of aliens possibly at different stages of development. This too, is difficult to accept. It implies the existence of intelligent life on a majority of the planets in our solar system or a surprisingly strong interest in Earth by members of other solar systems. A solution to the UFO problem may be obtained by the long and diligent effort of a large group of well-financed and competent scientists. Unfortunately, there is no evidence suggesting that such an effort is going to be made."

I would like to point that just because they used the word "alien." It doesn't necessarily mean ET in origin. It simply means NOT originated from planet Earth. However, they did jump the gun and embraced the ET hypothesis in the end. Can't blame them, really. It is simply an educated guess.

Anyway, does anyone know any more information about this book? Or what kind of evidence was provided to support the claims that UAP have persisted for almost 50,000 years. That part is very tantalizing to me. Lue Elizondo himself, has made similar claims. About UAP going far back thousands of years. I just never thought it would go that far back. It brought to mind, ancient aboriginal rock art which depicts strange beings with very peculiar characteristics. For instance:

The Horseshoe Canyon Rock Art (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b7/Holy_Ghost_…) (Human presence in this area has been dated as far back as 9000-7000 B.C).

The Wandjina Rock Art at Mt. Elizabeth Station (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/65/Aboriginal_rock_a…) (This art dates to around 3800–4000 years ago).

Why is this relevant? Well there have been reports of close encounters of the third kind. Where people describe having witnessed or interacted with otherworldly beings with very peculiar characteristics. For example, some of the drawings (https://www.quadcities.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/zimbabwe-ufo-1.…) produced by the children who witnessed the Ariel School Encounter on September 16th, 1994.

The ancient rock art is very interesting. However, those murals are NOT that old. What did the USAF find which they could have carbon dated so far back in time? 50,000 years is way before recorded history. What did the USAF find and where? What led them to believe that there were at least (3) to (4) different alien species going about their business on Earth? Why was the ET hypothesis their favorite "most stimulating theory"? I want to know.

Controversial Spinfoil: Last but not least, it also made me think of what Bob lazar said. That he had the impression that the alien artifact which he had worked on (or one of the ones he saw), had originated from an archeological dig site (https://youtu.be/BEWz4SXfyCQ?t=4423). This was based on, allegedly, the information which he was being fed while he worked at S4. Meaning that, the artifact was possibly extremely old and ancient. It doesn't mean that it was built by ancient people. It means that wherever it came from, and whoever brought it here to Earth, that they had made their presence known long, long ago.
