Bell Labs free-energy devices claim — Greer claims a witness saw many 'free energy' devices at Bell Labs.

Steven Greer said in his 2006 book that a former Bell Laboratories employee told him he had seen 28 or 29 "free energy" devices that had been shelved and hidden. Greer has long argued that energy technologies capable of ending dependence on fossil fuels are being suppressed.

No such devices have ever been documented, and "free energy" claims, meaning devices that produce more energy than they consume, conflict with the basic laws of physics. The witness wasn't named.

The testimony also notes Kit Green's work at General Motors from 1985 to 1999 and the 1985 Advanced Theoretical Physics conference, as background to discussions of hidden technology. The Bell Labs claim remains unsupported.
