Skunk Works astral projection anecdote — Greer claims a Skunk Works engineer described using astral projection.

In his 2006 book Hidden Truth, Forbidden Knowledge, Steven Greer said that a Lockheed Skunk Works engineer told him he had learned "astral projection", a claimed out-of-body experience, and during one session saw a UFO near Earth.

The anecdote is relayed by Greer without any corroboration or name. The testimony connects it to the broader overlap between aerospace engineers and unconventional ideas, noting that former Lockheed Skunk Works senior technical fellow Charles Chase, who worked on exotic propulsion and metamaterials, now runs the UnLAB research initiative, which funds work on advanced propulsion and energy.

There's no evidence that Lockheed used astral projection in any program, and the story remains a single anecdote.
