Dan Sherman's September 1994 exchange — Sherman describes another exchange with the non-human source.

Dan Sherman's book also describes another exchange with the non-human source in September 1994. According to Sherman, the messages continued as he grew more doubtful about his role and about the motives of the people overseeing the program.

He says that around this time he decided to leave the Air Force, which he did later in the 1990s. He published Above Black in 1997 and gave a widely heard interview on Art Bell's Coast to Coast AM in November 1997.

Sherman's story is unverified. It's sometimes cited alongside other accounts of alleged government programs to contact non-human intelligence by psychic means, such as Ray Boeche's 1991 meeting with two Defense Department scientists.
