UFO connection
Burkhalter's name appears in Timeline accounts from the AAWSAP era, including a 2009 report that a member of the BAASS team was retrieving old Project Grudge data from Area 51. Researchers have also named him in discussions of which senior intelligence officials might have known about secret programs. These accounts are second-hand and unconfirmed, and Burkhalter made no known public statements about UFOs.
