George H.W. Bush and the Trudeau briefing — Eric Davis says George H.W. Bush recalled a briefing about recovered material.
Physicist Eric Davis has said that former President George H.W. Bush told him he had been briefed by Gen. Arthur Trudeau around the time of the 1960s House Armed Services Committee hearings chaired by Mendel Rivers, about Trudeau's aide Philip Corso. Bush served in the House of Representatives from 1967 to 1971.
The claim connects to Corso's 1997 book The Day After Roswell, in which Corso said he had worked for Trudeau in the early 1960s and handled alien technology. Davis had earlier asked Bush whether Corso might have confused Soviet technology with alien.
The account rests solely on Davis's description of a private conversation, and Bush never spoke publicly about it. Bush died in 2018.
