George wrote articles disputing Robert Jacobs's account of the 1964 Big Sur film. He said the film showed normal events in missile tests, such as the release of decoys and radar reflectors, and that the claimed beams were artifacts of the imaging system. He argued that there was no UFO. His view is often cited by skeptics, while Jacobs's supporters say the two men may be describing different films.
