Alexander on Edward Teller — Col. John Alexander says physicist Edward Teller would be among the few who knew the truth.
In his 2011 book UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities, retired Army Col. John Alexander recalled a dinner with physicist Edward Teller and Hal Puthoff. Alexander wrote that Teller, the "father of the hydrogen bomb" and a towering figure in U.S. weapons science, would have been one of the few people who might know the truth about UFOs, given his position and connections.
Teller himself never said publicly that he had any special knowledge of UFOs. Some UFO stories claim Teller was involved in secret programs, and Bob Lazar said Teller helped him get his job at S-4, though there's no evidence for that.
Alexander's comment reflects his general approach: open to the reality of UFOs, but skeptical of claims about hidden programs. Teller died in 2003.
