Nuclear lure plan claim — A reporter says a plan exists to draw UAP out using nuclear materials.

In March 2022, journalist Tim McMillan, co-founder of The Debrief, said sources had described a formal plan to draw out UAP by exploiting their apparent interest in nuclear materials, a kind of lure to observe them.

The idea builds on long-standing reports of UAP near nuclear facilities, from the 1940s onward, which researchers like Robert Hastings have catalogued. Slides from the AATIP program, shown on the History Channel, correlated UAP reports with nuclear sites.

The plan hasn't been documented publicly. The testimony notes that Navy records show a classified AATIP-related briefing was held on 23 March 2022.
