In his 1997 book The Day After Roswell, retired Lt. Col. Philip Corso, who worked under Trudeau in the Foreign Technology desk, claimed that Trudeau had directed him to quietly pass Roswell crash material to U.S. companies for development. Trudeau died before the book was published, and there is no record supporting the claim. Historians note that the technologies Corso named, such as lasers and fibre optics, have documented human origins.
