Burisch says he studied an extraterrestrial being he called "J-Rod", who he said was a time traveller from the future, and that he was part of a secret group connected to MJ-12. His story spread from the early 2000s through Coast to Coast AM, the Las Vegas researcher Bill Hamilton and the Project Camelot website. Researchers have questioned his academic credentials and found no evidence for his claims. He is often cited as an example of how dramatic, unverifiable insider stories spread in UFO culture.
