Joseph Gradisher is a U.S. Navy official who served as spokesman for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare.
UAP statements
In September 2019, Gradisher confirmed to media that the three Navy videos (FLIR1, Gimbal and GoFast) showed "unidentified aerial phenomena", and said the Navy was taking reports seriously. Emails released through FOIA showed him coordinating replies to UAP-related requests across agencies in 2020. A Navy briefing card that year told staff to use "UAP", not "UFO".
