Description

Last week I had a flight that left Dallas/Fort Worth at 10:34PM headed west to Yuma AZ. After about 30 mins of flight, I looked out the window looking north and I noticed lights in the sky. At 30 mins into the flight, we were at a cruising altitude of 33,000 feet. I could see the lights traveling up and down in a fairly slow manner, and I thought at first it could have been military aircraft preforming maneuvers but military craft (and others) don't fly with their landing lights on and there were no green/red blinking lights that accompanied the white colored lights.

These lights "danced" in the sky for the entire length of my flight (2+ hours) and stayed in relative location in the sky - these lights must have been far off on the horizon and not in close proximity to the aircraft as I could make out the Big Dipper in the sky, and these lights stayed in relative orientation with the constellation the entire flight.

I wish I could have gotten some photo or video but never could get a clear enough photo that even showed the lights or stars.

I just had to share this as I have seen other post lights in the sky!
