This just happened June 20th 2026 at 9PM. I am pretty sure the thing is still there.

Wife and I were enjoying dinner on a balcony at Sagamore Beach, MA overlooking Cape Cod Bay when my wife noticed something falling about 200-300 yards out. I saw it falling too and began filming. I caught just the end of it hitting the water. The thing fell straight down. Mind you there is a storm in the area now (you might be able to see occasional flashes from distant lightning), but there should be some wind. It was weird how slowly it fell, and how it fell *straight down despite the wind.*

The rest of the video shows it just sitting there. I know it’s blurry, apologies. The really weird thing is that you can see the gentle tides coming in and that thing *does not move with the tides*.

I think it’s still out there… I could see it with my binoculars for at least 30 mins longer (got too dark eventually) and it did not see it move… it was kind of freaky.

Anyway I hope to check in the morning.
