Location: Central Valley, California (PDT, UTC -7)
Just returned from a walk. Looked up to see what looked like a medium size jet heading north, which is not on the usual flight path around here. Even the jets out of Travis seem to be heading south when in this part of the sky. The bottom of this jet was flashing really bright white. It didn't seem like ordinary green and red navigation lights. When I filmed it and finally thought to zoom in, you can see that the light really consists of multiple colors - is cycling through those colors.
I'm posting this because I suspect others will have seen it and I just want to know that the heck it was.
