Lyndon B. Johnson (1908–1973) was the 36th President of the United States (1963–1969).
UFO connection

Johnson's presidency coincided with the 1966 Michigan sightings, the House hearing and the University of Colorado study. Some researchers, including Grant Cameron, report claims that Johnson asked for an informal UFO study in 1968, which supposedly concluded UFOs were real and intelligently controlled, and that CIA imagery chief Arthur Lundahl may have briefed presidents. No records confirm this. Johnson made no notable public statements on UFOs.
