Project Blue Heaven claim — A physicist claims he worked on Project Blue Heaven at Edwards AFB.

According to the testimony, a physicist claimed to have worked on "Project Blue Heaven" at Edwards Air Force Base in California. The source is Leonard Stringfield's Status Report VI (1991), republished by Linda Moulton Howe, in which an engineer referred to as "Dr. Epigoni" describes a disc that landed at Edwards.

The full account is behind a paywall, and we couldn't confirm what "Project Blue Heaven" refers to or the physicist's identity. No official records of a project by that name have surfaced.

Edwards has been the setting for several UFO stories, including claims that in 1954 President Eisenhower secretly met aliens there during a supposed dental visit to Palm Springs. Edwards is also the Air Force's main flight test centre, which makes it a natural target for rumours. This claim remains unverified.
