TRW Inc. was a major American company in aerospace, defence electronics and automotive parts, formed from Thompson Products and the Ramo-Wooldridge Corporation in 1958. It played a central role in U.S. ballistic missile development and built many satellites and spacecraft, including Pioneer 10. Northrop Grumman acquired it in 2002.
In UFO claims
TRW appears in several unverified accounts. Some researchers and alleged insiders have claimed that TRW engineers studied exotic propulsion or worked on UFO-related projects, and its name appears in stories involving the Majestic documents and contractor-held programs. There is no documented evidence that TRW held UFO material or ran such programs.
