Radio caller's underground base claim (1991) — A radio caller claims he wired a deep underground site holding military personnel and creatures.

According to the testimony, in 1991 a radio caller claimed he had worked as an electrician wiring a deep underground facility that held both military personnel and non-human creatures. The source is a compilation of underground-base stories by a writer using the name "Branton".

Claims of this kind were common in the late 1980s and 1990s, especially on late-night radio shows such as Art Bell's Coast to Coast AM, which gave a platform to callers with extraordinary stories. Phil Schneider, who claimed to have been injured in a 1979 firefight with aliens at Dulce while working as a geologist and engineer, is the best-known example.

None of these claims has been confirmed, and the callers typically remained anonymous. The underground-base genre traces back largely to the disinformation fed to Paul Bennewitz in the early 1980s.
