In a 2016 video, Steven Greer named sites he said were linked to man-made UFO programs, under the title "Man-Made UFO Locations".[1] Several of the same places had appeared in a facilities list his organisation CSETI marked as prepared for Congress in August 1996 and reprinted in 2001.[2]
The sites

The 1996 list included Northrop's "Anthill" at Tejon Ranch in California, Lockheed Martin's Helendale plant in the Mojave Desert and Phillips Laboratory's North Edwards facility, alongside Edwards Air Force Base, Area 51, Kirtland Air Force Base and others.[2] Phillips Laboratory was an Air Force research laboratory that was merged into the Air Force Research Laboratory in 1997.[3]
Greer's claims
Greer has long argued that secret programs inside unacknowledged special access projects build "alien reproduction vehicles" and could stage a fake alien threat, a warning also contained in the 2016 video's title.[1][2]
Assessment

These are real aerospace and defence sites, some of them highly secret. There is no evidence for Greer's claims about what they hold.[2][4]
