John Mills is a former U.S. Air Force technician who said that around 1984–85 he saw film footage of unidentified objects interacting with dummy warheads during missile tests over the Pacific.

Mills's claim echoes the 1964 Big Sur incident described by Robert Jacobs, in which an object appeared to approach and disable a test warhead. Researchers studying UFOs and nuclear weapons, including Robert Hastings, have collected such accounts. Mills's description has not been confirmed by released records, and skeptics argue that such films show normal events in missile tests, such as decoys and debris separating.
