Puthoff on black-budget physics (2002) — Puthoff tells author Nick Cook there is solid evidence of secret aerospace programs.
In The Hunt for Zero Point (2001), Jane's Defence Weekly aviation editor Nick Cook quotes physicist Hal Puthoff as saying the evidence was fairly solid that black-budget aerospace programs had explored physics beyond the mainstream, such as gravity control.
The book is a personal investigation built on interviews, many anonymous, and on documents like the 1950s Herald Tribune anti-gravity articles and Air Force studies. The testimony notes that NASA's Breakthrough Propulsion Physics program was looking at several possible approaches to gravity control at the time, including vacuum energy and inertia modification.
Cook's book was influential, but critics argue that much of it rests on speculation. Puthoff's view, as quoted, is consistent with his later role in the AAWSAP program and To The Stars Academy.
