In late June 2021 UFO historian Richard Dolan said on his online show that a source had told him about the contents of the classified annex to the U.S. intelligence community's first UAP report. His claims, like many others circulating at the time, could not be checked.[1][2]
Dolan
Dolan (born 1962) is the author of the two-volume history UFOs and the National Security State (2000 and 2009) and co-author, with Bryce Zabel, of A.D. After Disclosure. He studied at Alfred University and the University of Rochester and has hosted a long-running online show.[2]
The report

On 25 June 2021 the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a nine-page "preliminary assessment" of 144 UAP reports by U.S. forces between 2004 and 2021, of which only one was explained, as a deflating balloon. A classified annex went to the congressional intelligence committees the same day. The Office said the annex contained information that could not be declassified to protect sources and methods, but that the two versions were "substantively consistent" and reached the same key conclusions.[3][4]
Speculation about the annex
In the following weeks, claims about the annex spread widely online, often attributed to anonymous sources, with estimates of its length ranging from about 70 pages to more than 400. In July 2021 researcher John Greenewald of The Black Vault obtained official confirmation from the Office that the classified report was only seventeen pages in total. One person who attended a briefing told reporters that lawmakers received little information beyond what was already public.[3][5]
Assessment
The annex has not been released, and Dolan's description of what it contained cannot be verified.[1][5]
