Oke Shannon and Los Alamos UAP interest — A former Los Alamos manager says staff studied UAP unofficially.
James "Oke" Shannon is a former special projects manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2022, he said that some lab staff had studied UAP unofficially, and that by the mid-1980s some had concluded the phenomenon might be "interdimensional" rather than simply extraterrestrial.
Shannon was involved with John Alexander's 1985 Advanced Theoretical Physics group. He also said that Vice Adm. Thomas Wilson, former DIA director, had contacted him about Eric Davis, which connects to the disputed Wilson/Davis notes. Wilson denies the notes' account.
Shannon's statements give an inside view of informal interest at the nuclear labs. They're based on his recollections and haven't been confirmed by documents.
