I’ve been building a series of interactive UFO reconstructions at Probed. This one follows the Phoenix Lights reports from March 13, 1997.

It draws on NUFORC’s preliminary hotline summary and BUFOG’s later interview with a driver identified as “Nathan.” The earlier moving formations and the later lights over the valley are presented separately.

The video follows those accounts. In the interactive version, you can also explore the scene, inspect the model, read the sources, and examine the calculated night sky.

This is an illustrative reconstruction. Where the records leave gaps in shape, distance or movement, we’ve made interpretive choices.

The scenes are rendered in 3D. Voices, music and some sound effects are AI-generated; the voices are not historical recordings.
