Edward Teller (1908–2003) was a Hungarian-born American physicist, known as the "father of the hydrogen bomb". He co-founded Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and was a strong supporter of President Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative.
UFO connections

In 1949 Teller attended a conference at Los Alamos on the green fireballs seen over New Mexico. Retired Army Col. John Alexander later said Teller was one of the few people he would expect to know the truth if there were a UFO secret. In 1985 President Reagan wrote in his diary about lunch with scientists, including Teller, discussing a possible space capability, which some researchers have linked to secret programs. There is no evidence Teller knew of UFO material.
