Overview

The Navy encounters off the U.S. East Coast that began in the summer of 2014 continued until March 2015.[1] Pilots from the USS Theodore Roosevelt strike group, including Lieutenant Ryan Graves, recorded the GIMBAL and GOFAST infrared videos during 2014–2015 while reporting unknown objects.[2] The New York Times later reported that pilots had seen objects that appeared capable of high acceleration, deceleration and manoeuvrability. In one case, an object described as a sphere enclosing a cube passed between two jets flying about 100 feet apart.[1]

In December 2015 BAE Systems engineer Ronald Evans disclosed the existence of Project Greenglow, a small British research project to investigate gravity control for aerospace use. It is reported to have had no success.[3] BAE had launched it in 1986.[4] On 5 November the National Reconnaissance Office told a Freedom of Information requester it had no UFO records, saying the subject was outside its responsibilities.[3]

The timeline's other 2015 entries include two emails of 6 March from former government contractor Bob Fish to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. Fish said the Air Force's Defense Support Program satellites collected "hard data" on UFOs, and described meeting a sergeant who said he had worked for Blue Book after its public closure.[5] On 13 March Christopher "Kit" Green said the medical records of John Burroughs, a witness in the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident, had been classified.[5] Other entries include a retired Navy flight engineer's claim of an entrance to an underground facility near the South Pole, a 20 February report of diamond- and donut-shaped objects in Oklahoma, and claims about suppressed energy inventions.[6][5]
